Honda HR-V Performance
Two-wheel drive comes standard on the HR-V. However, Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ is also available to give you more confidence through the winter.
Both drivetrains are powered by an inline 4-cylinder engine, which provides 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. A Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) offers efficient power and a smooth acceleration.
Versatile Interior in the HR-V
Choose your own adventure: the versatile interior of the HR-V is ready to help you kayak, redecorate, garden, and more. That’s because a 60/40-split second-row Magic Seat® offers several different configuration options, making it easy to accommodate several different types of cargo.
With all the seats in their regular position, this 2-row crossover can easily accommodate five passengers.
One of the great things about driving home a new car is the exciting technology that comes with it, and the Honda HR-V doesn’t disappoint. Available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration allow you to launch your phone apps from a 7-inch touchscreen.
Meanwhile, available convenience features give you less to think about, so you can focus on the journey at hand. Some of these features include:
- Auto-dimming rearview mirror
- Walk Away Auto Lock®
- Automatic climate control
Honda HR-V Safety
Each new Honda HR-V comes with a multi-angle rearview camera to help increase visibility when backing up. Additional driver-assistive technologies are also available to keep you mindful of the road around your vehicle. For instance:
- Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) keeps you centered in your lane on the highway
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) keeps you at a set distance from the vehicle ahead
- Honda LaneWatch™ displays the area next to your car on the center touchscreen
This crossover was designed to keep you and your family safe and has the accolades to back it up. For starters, the 2019 Honda HR-V has a 5-star Overall Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for 2019.1 Plus, the 2019 Honda HR-V Touring, EX, and EX-L trims are a 2019 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK.2
