Offering microbrews to satisfy beer snobs and novices alike, the festival celebrates the best of Colorado’s craft beer culture with brewery tours, tastings, tap takeovers, and more. Your glass will never go dry during the Denver Beer Fest, so grab your growler and savor the craft concoctions from Colorado’s finest restaurants and brewers.

Eighth Annual Denver Beer Fest
During Denver Beer Fest, the city will overflow with golden lagers, amber ales, and countless microbrews. Festival-goers have nine days to explore Denver’s incredible beer culture, with the party kicking off Friday, September 30 and continuing through Saturday, October 8.
Needless to say, the festival features dozens of beer tastings and firkin tappings. But with events like beer bike nights, midnight beer breakfasts, and brewer competitions, the Denver Beer Fest offers plenty of ingenious ways to imbibe. Other events include brewing competitions, beer quizzes, and a street party with live music, so mark your calendar because the Denver Beer Fest is an event you won’t want to miss.
Denver Beer Fest Breweries & Attractions
The 2016 Denver Beer Festival features some of Colorado’s finest breweries and restaurants. You can get a festival itinerary on the Denver Beer Festival’s website, complete with the cost of admission to each event, but here’s a sneak peak of some of the breweries participating this year:

Beers Made by Walking
We’re also looking forward to Beers Made by Walking at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, one of the festival’s highly anticipated events.
After brewers go on nature hikes, they create new beers based on the natural landscape and plants observed. The event showcases more than 30 brews inspired by these walks and is slated for Tuesday, October 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Admission costs $35.
Hooves & Hops Beer Dinner
If you’re a foodie, you definitely don’t want to miss the Denver Beer Fest’s Hooves & Hops Beer Dinner. Scheduled for 7:30 pm on October 6 at Osteria Marco, the Hooves & Hops Beer Dinner features five courses paired with five different Great Divide Beers. No matter what you’re craving, the Hooves & Hops Beer Dinner offers something to satisfy every palate.
