2020 Honda Ridgeline Trim Levels
The 2020 Honda Ridgeline offers four trim levels, tons of new features, and a versatile design that appeals to a wide audience of pickup truck shoppers.
With so many options to choose from, it’s important to do your homework before making a final decision. That’s why the folks here at Mile High Honda have put together this 2020 Honda Ridgeline trim levels review.
To see how the Ridgeline can elevate your travels around Centennial, Aurora, and Denver, CO, continue reading the sections below.
First up in the Ridgeline lineup is the Sport. While this may be the Ridgeline standard trim level, its inclusion of features makes it anything but ordinary. Here’s the rundown.
Under the hood, you’ll find a powerful 3.5L V6 engine, complete with 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. With an engine this well-performing, highway driving has never felt so smooth. This engine is also equipped with Hill-Start Assist, Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®), and a high-capacity radiator with two high-power fans.
Another feature of the Sport trim is the option of either 2-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. These options are highly adaptable; however, they do affect towing capacity. The 2-wheel drive version has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, while the all-wheel drive option provides a hefty 5,000 pounds of towing strength. This is great for hauling larger items such as boats and trailers.
In addition, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline Sport isn’t just powerful, it’s pretty good looking, too.
It’s hard to miss a 2020 Honda Ridgeline Sport with its distinctive exterior styling, especially with its eye-catching Crystal Black Pearl paint.
2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL
Next up is the 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL. This trim level comes with all the standard features seen on the Ridgeline Sport, plus a variety of interior upgrades. With its leather-trimmed cabin, heated front seats, acoustic windshield, and 10-way power driver’s seat, the Ridgeline RTL elevates your ride to a higher standard of luxury.
That’s not all, this vehicle includes several technological upgrades, too. The whole cabin will enjoy the enhanced sound quality of the 200-watt audio system with seven speakers and a subwoofer. They’ll also love the addition of LED front map lights, and heated, body-colored power side mirrors.
The Honda Ridgeline RTL-E comes with the security of Honda Sensing®, a suite of confidence-boosting safety features, including:
- Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM): RDM can determine if your vehicle crosses over detected lanes without signaling and can even provide steering assistance to help stay on track.
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): Maintain a set distance from the car ahead of you with Adaptive Cruise Control. Simply set a predetermined speed and you’re good to go.
- Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™): In the event of a collision, Collision Mitigation Braking System™ will automatically apply brake pressure to help bring your Ridgeline to a halt.
Moreover, the 2020 Ridgeline RTL-E comes with a Truck Bed Audio System. Here, six speakers located inside the bed wall pump out sound with 540 watts of power. It can also be operated via Bluetooth®, which allows for smartphone audio and volume control.
2020 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition
As the 2020 Honda Ridgeline highest trim level, the Black Edition offers distinctive styling, innovative features, and a luxurious interior. The Ridgeline Black Edition includes all the features on the RTL-E trim, plus a Black Edition exterior trim, Black Edition leather interior, 18-inch black alloy-wheels, and red ambient LED lighting.
