2020 Honda Fit Review
Hatchback sedans are becoming an increasingly popular way to get around the Centennial, Aurora, and Denver areas. If you prioritize efficiency and technology when you’re in the market for a new ride, the 2020 Honda Fit may be exactly what you’re looking for.
Find out if it’s properly suited for your needs with this comprehensive 2020 Honda Fit review from Mile High Honda.
2020 Honda Fit: Honda Sensing®
One of the most impressive features of the 2020 Honda Fit is the Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assistance technologies. With this system, you can drive with peace of mind using features like a Collision Mitigation Braking System™. If you’re approaching an imminent collision, this system will automatically engage the brakes to mitigate the damage or possibly avoid the collision entirely.
This same suite of driver-assistance features also includes a Road Departure Mitigation System. Using detection capabilities to find lane markers, this system will send alerts should you start to edge out of your lane without signaling. It can even take slight control of your steering to guide you back into your lane. It also works to detect the edges of roadways and can automatically turn you back on the road or provide braking before you leave the road too far.
2020 Fit: Infotainment Technology
The Honda Fit’s tech isn’t all about safety. You’ll also find numerous infotainment features, including Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
You may also be interested in the HondaLink® feature. This next-generation software allows your Fit and your smartphone to connect on a greater level than ever before. By installing this app, you can enjoy remote control of some features of your Fit, such as the engine and door locks. If you’re in a hurry on a cold winter morning, just bring up the app and start your Fit from your smartphone. By the time you make it out to your car, it’ll be warmed up and ready to go.
2020 Honda Fit Interior
Inside the Fit, you’ll find comfortable seating that’s surprisingly luxurious in all five seats. The front seats take comfort to the next level, as you can opt for heated seats that come with high and low settings. The interior can also be equipped with blue LED illumination for that extra aesthetic touch that also makes it easier to see inside at night.
The rear seats are impressive as they feature four different modes: Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh. Utility mode folds down the rear seats, revealing a massive 52.7 cubic feet of cargo space. Long mode is better suited when hauling items like surfboards and kayaks, as it folds down the front passenger seat and the rear seat behind it. Tall mode folds the seats to create four feet of vertical space. Finally, Refresh mode allows the rear seat to recline and the front passenger seat to fold back to use as a footrest when stationary.
