In a city like Denver, Colorado, there are countless New Year’s Eve parties to attend. Bars and restaurants on every corner will be hopping with music, dancing, and drinks. Ranging from black tie events to semi-formal bashes, from booze-fueled parties to family-friendly fun, there’s something for everyone in Denver on New Year’s Eve.
To help you choose the right event, your friends at Mile High Honda have put together a list of three of our favorite events in Denver this New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Eve at Club Wings
If you’ve been to the Air & Space Museum at Wings Over the Rockies before, you might not expect it to host one of the best parties of the year. Yet surprisingly, amidst the WWII fighter jets and memorials, there’s an exhilarating party for guests 21 and over.
Flying in from New York City, DJ Wonder will be in the hangar churning out rollicking hip-hop and EDM beats all night. Additional performances by Sur Ellz, and tributes to David Bowie and Prince, will keep guests on their feet for hours. And long after the champagne has started flowing, Lyft will be partnering with Club Wings to offer discount rides, ensuring that guests start the new year safely.
Union Station’s New Year’s Eve Countdown Party
The best part of the New Year’s Eve Countdown Party at Union Station is that it’s actually three parties in one. No matter what you’re in the mood for, there will be something for you at Union Station.
The lower level will be holding a timeless speakeasy party, including music by Denver’s own Gypsy Swing Revue. If you’re interested in something more current, the great hall will be hosting the Silent DJ Party, where three different DJs will be mixing electrifying beats until long after midnight. However, if you’re looking for something quieter, the Cooper Lounge will be holding a more laid back affair, perfect for a romantic rendezvous.
Once the parties have died down, guests can book a room in the Crawford Hotel, eliminating all worries of travel. For ticket information, visit Union Station’s website. You can connect with them on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
Zoo Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve can’t be all about parents. That’s why the Denver Zoo is hosting Zoo Year’s Eve for kids between the ages of 6 and 12. Parents can kick back and relax knowing their kids are safe and having fun bunking at the zoo, leaving them free to enjoy more adult festivities.
A Zoo Year’s Eve ticket includes dinner, a snack, and breakfast the next morning. Starting at 6:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, kids will be grouped with an instructor and led through the Lights in the Zoo exhibit, arts and crafts, and educational animal encounters. At 9:00 p.m., kids can enjoy an early holiday countdown before bed.
