About: The Christmas season wouldn’t be complete without Denver’s annual 9NEWS Parade of Lights. Now in its 42nd year of production, the two-mile Parade of Lights features seasonal floats, marching bands, and appearances by Santa and Major Waddles the Penguin to help you get in the holiday spirit.

The Parade of Lights is one of Denver’s most highly anticipated events each Christmas, and it gets bigger and better each passing year. To get in the Christmas cheer, grab your hat, gloves, and a steaming hot cup of hot chocolate and head to downtown Denver for the incredible Parade of Lights.

Santaland Diaries

  • When: Nov. 25-Dec. 24, 2016
  • Where: Denver Center for the Performing Arts, 1101 13th Street, Denver, CO 80204

About:If you’re in the mood for a laugh this holiday season, be sure to catch the Santaland Diaries at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

This critically acclaimed one-man show, written by David Sedaris, is based on his stint working as Crumpet the Elf at Macy’s Santaland in New York City. Go Ice Skating at Skyline Park’s Southwest Rink

Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo
