Blossoms of Light at Denver Botanic Gardens, York Street

Celebrate the season in a special way by attending Blossoms of Light at Denver Botanic Gardens’ York Street location. This holiday light show starts on Black Friday and continues nightly through New Year’s Day featuring thousands of blinking beauties set to the gardens’ winding landscape.

Winter walkways transform into glittering vistas, water features reflect cheery splashes of color, and bare-bone branches take on new life. Stay warm by sipping a hot beverage and munching on a tasty treat as you wander in wonder.

Pick either the short path that leads to the kids’ holiday play area or the scenic track that meanders by the Green Farm Barn and silo. When your walk is done, stop by the hut and fire pit to warm-up with hot cocoa.

Trail of Lights visitors also have the option of seeing the illuminated farm by hayride on Friday and Saturday nights. Trail of Lights nights coincide with scheduling mentioned above for Blossoms of Light.

41st Annual Parade of Lights

Catch a well-lit parade saunter through downtown Denver at 9NEWS’ 41st Annual Parade of Lights on the nights of December 4 and 5. Once you settle in along the processional route, get ready to hum along to your favorite holiday tunes as bands march by, ooh and ah at hand-strung glowing floats and get a glimpse of Mr. Claus and Major Waddles the Penguin.

Zoo Lights 2015 at the Denver Zoo

The Denver Zoo’s Zoo Lights event grows to illuminate more of the zoo’s exhibits year after year. From December 4 to January 3, you can catch the zoo like you’ve never seen it before as lit-up animals climb, flutter, stomp, and swing from tree to tree overtop glittering surroundings. Nightly special guests, visits with Old Saint Nick, and awe-inspiring displays are ingredients for a special nighttime visit.

Lights, camera, action! It’s almost time for these special holiday tributes to take place. Don’t miss out on making memories with family and friends at these events as we all celebrate time spent together and ring in the new year.

Happy holidays from your friends at Mile High Honda!
